ResiGains was founded in early 2019 by Jonathan Gains after five years in a front line Build to Rent delivery role as commercial director of LIV Group, one of the UK’s leading management operators.

Jonathan’s expertise in commercial and contractual negotiations helped cement management agreements with several of the UK’s leading BTR clients across multiple schemes and thousands of letting units. He also led some of the notable innovation and service developments that helped the company build a successful and recognised delivery model for BTR management operations. These included the introduction of quality management practices throughout the business and the development of a proprietary mobile app that broke new ground in the seamless delivery of services directly to residents via technology.

Prior to working in the BTR sector, Jonathan gained extensive operational management experience in the investment and asset management sector, including as a senior vice president with Citibank and in an executive leadership role at LV= Asset Management.

While ResiGains serves the UK market, Jonathan spent several years living in the USA where he experienced BTR first hand in 2003 while renting in a multi-family community in Boston, Massachusetts, when a bookable cinema room was the big hook amenity. He remains a frequent visitor to America’s Midwest and periodically mystery shops multi-family communities across middle America which affords interesting insights into mainstream US practices coupled with a deep understanding of the differences between the US and UK markets.
